I had a private meeting with the sales team at the NorthPoint Condos development, currently under construction in Boston, on the border of East Cambridge.

There will be two residential buildings put up first, to be followed by a mixture of residential, commercial, retail, and laboratory space, built over the next [...]

The first property we visited was at 910 Beacon Street. This is the property that was profiled in yesterday’s Boston Herald. The building is on [...]

But, somehow, I had a weird, deja-vu feeling about the building.
I seen it, before.
But, where?
Oh, right.

For $150,000, you can buy a 2006 Hummer H1, a 2002 Bentley Arnage or a 1999 Lamborghini Diablo.
Or you can just buy a Back Bay parking space to put one in.
Prices for Hub parking spaces are hitting all-time highs.
There are only 19 spaces currently listed for sale – including two Beacon Street spots priced at [...]

How often do you move? In the old days, at least in theory, people bought their first homes when they were young, and, after maybe buying one or two more homes over the years as they built out their families with kids, would settle down until they died or were put away. Renters [...]

That’s just about the gist of it.
If you’re putting your home on the market, you need to price it at, or even slightly below, the price of the competition. That is, if you want to sell it.
And, you might consider not putting down money on a new place, until you have a signed purchase [...]
