Out-of-work ex-real estate agent Barbara Corcoran was on “Good Morning, America” this week to discuss “What your broker won’t tell you”.
Pretty much, the advice was helpful to those using a seller’s agent (an agent who shows you the listings, but works for the seller, in all cases). If you work with a buyer’s agent, who has your own best interests at heart, you will avoid these.
What the Broker Might Not Tell the Buyer
“I think the house is overpriced.”
“The house has been on the market for six months.”
“They’re building a skyscraper across the street.”
“I’m going to show you a crappy house first to lower your expectations.”
