From The Inside Track, in the Boston Herald, late last week (a very trusted source!): Now, don’t say you read it here, but the big buzz on Beacon Street is that New England Patriots QB/QT Tom Brady is spending something in the neighborhood of $6.7 million for a townhouse that’s ever-so-close to his current Commonwealth [...]

From The Inside Track, in the Boston Herald early last week: Don’t breathe a word of this. Because nobody’s supposed to know. But word outta the Back Bay is that the employees of the Ritz-Carlton have been told that the grand dame on Arlington Street may soon be under new management. We hear the hotel’s [...]

I love this project. Jade is a 57-unit condo conversion currently under construction in New York City, designed by the eponymous Jade Jagger (daughter of Mick and Bianca). In a recent New York Times article, it was described as thus: The perfect pod (described as a “jewel box or a “fabulous suitcase) is a cubelike [...]

I like this one. You don’t often find a piece of land this big, in the middle of the city. Traffic is a killer, in front of it, though. From the MLS listing: Great land development opportunity in Boston’s hot South End. Land with permits and plans for 30 unit condo project (32k gross sq. [...]

From today’s NY Post: Is New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady moving to New York? Sources told us the two-time Super Bowl MVP and his gal pal Bridget Moynahan were at the Cipriani Club Residences at 55 Wall St. two weeks ago. Brady was looking to combine penthouse units in the luxury condo conversion development. [...]

So, you went out and found the house or condo of your dreams, and plunked down 5%, when you signed the purchase and sale contract, assuming you’d be able to find someone to buy your current home. But, so far, no offers. What are your options? Back out of the deal to buy the new [...]

Q: Orthodox Jews in my co-op want to make one of our two elevators a Sabbath elevator, which would stop automatically at every floor. We have only 2 elevators for more than 190 apartments on 16 floors. Dedicating one as a Sabbath elevator could cause problems. For one, it could take quite a bit of [...]
