I am so happy I am a resident of Massachusetts, where residents are so concerned about the environment.
Representative William Brownsberger, Democrat of Belmont, supports plans to acquire a parcel of land known as “Belmont Uplands” and turn it into conservation land.

What caused the fall-off in condo sales and prices over the past year?
* Higher interest rates cut into borrowing power of entry-level buyers
* Tighter lending rules cut off access to funds for buyers

Prices and volume of home sales in the Commonwealth dropped in May, compared to May, 2006.
According to the Warren Group, the publisher of Banker & Tradesman, the median price of a single-family home in Massachusetts was $315,000 in May, down 4.6 percent from a year ago when the median was $330,000.
