Affordable housing units available at NorthPoint
There are a bunch of “affordable” housing units available at the recently completed NorthPoint project, near Lechmere Station, on the borders of Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston.
Information on the City of Cambridge’s affordable housing program may be found on the city’s website.
There are a total of 38 affordable units listed for sale, from studios to one bedrooms, to two bedrooms to three bedrooms.
There are a total of 329 units in the two buildings – 99 in the Sierra building and 230 in the Tango building (part of which is still under construction, I believe).
Income eligibility requirements vary by unit size.
Studios and one bedrooms may be purchased by one or two person households, two bedrooms by two to four person households, and the three bedroom by four to six person households.

I don’t know if these are units that were originally set aside as part of the developer’s agreement with the city, or whether (as some of suggested) these are units purchased by the Housing Authority, recently.
