533 Cambridge brings higher-level living to Allston
There’s a new condo complex in Allston. It’s called 533 Cambridge. It is located at, wait for it, 533 Cambridge Street, right outside Union Square.
Paul Restuccia reviews it in today’s Boston Herald:
The new condo complex at 533 Cambridge St. in Allston is bringing 44 high-end, new-construction units to a neighborhood long dominated by student apartments.
Ten condos are still available, priced between $329,000 for a 773-square-foot one-bedroom condo and $455,800 for a 1,048-square-foot two-bedroom.
All units come with cherry-wood floors, tumbled-marble bathrooms and at least one deeded garage-parking space (two-bedroom units get two spaces). Kitchens feature granite counters, top-of-the-line appliances and cherry-wood cabinets.
This is in a very convenient location, accessible by MBTA bus (used to be accessible by the MBTA “A-line” but that’s another story …) and near the Mass Turnpike. The neighborhood is a good mix of young professionals, well-behaving students, and a lot of old-timers of many nationalities.
