Freddie Mac released the results of its Primary Mortgage Market Survey (PMMS) in which the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage (FRM) averaged 5.10 percent with an average 0.7 point for the week ending January 29, 2009, down from last week when it averaged 5.12 percent. Last year at this time, the 30-year FRM averaged 5.68 percent.

Presently, MLS has 65 Boston condos listed for short sales. Almost all of them are in Dorchester or Mattapan. However, there is one listed in the Boston Waterfront at the Folio, 80 Broad Street. Don’t all rush at once the Folio listing has been on the market for for over 200 days.
