Loan Modifications hurting banks

We were talking about these banking giants like JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Wells Fargo being weighed down by the problem portfolios absorbed with the likes of Washington Mutual, Countywide and Wachovia. Mortgage rates – all time low

The 30-year mortgage averaged 4.85% in the week ended March 26, the lowest point since Freddie Mac’s weekly survey began in 1971. Last week, the mortgage averaged 4.98%; the mortgage averaged 5.85% a year ago.



Back Bay Open House Update

Yesterday, I went to several open houses in the Back Bay priced from $299,000 to over a $1,000,000.00.
In all price ranges buyers were out and looking.
