The Back Bay Bryant auction is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Colonnade Hotel. According to the Bryant Back Bay web site unit # 505 which is a 3 bed/3 bath will have a min bid $1,075,000.00 which is a -48% slash in the original asking price.

In the last 60 days several Back Bay condo sales were in bidding wars.
Here are a few examples at various price points:

Developer Frank Keefe goes to bat for the proposed Boston Museum on Parcel 9 near Haymarket along the Rose Kennedy Greenway. He’s not impressed with a competing bid for residential housing:

Fewer Bay State properties were foreclosed on in August compared to the prior month and also compared to August 2008, according to The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman.

Senate Bill extends homebuyer tax credit for six months.
