    Hello Mary, as a follow-up regarding your comment on the W, Otis & Ahearn has 10 W condos listed on MLS as under agreement. Closings seem to be moving very slowly.

    Thanks John,

    Interesting tidbit regarding the W , the City of Boston just gave them a second mortgage for 10.5 million dollars. Ask around and see if it’s common practice for the City to backstop private developers….

    Is that the $10.5 million loan that was in the news last fall. I recall they were offered the loan in September but had not taken the city up on it by the end of the fall.

    Can you verify that Kevein Ahearn actually has 10 under agreement at the W? Kevin, may have just placed them on MLS as “under agreement”

    According to the sales team the lower floors are the only ones “ready for occupancy” and the top floors will be finished over the next 30 days. I believe this is the same at The Clarendon and the reason the high end of the bldg has not had any closings

    Condo Stat, I wasn’t aware of that. I was under the impression all the units were “ready for occupancy”
