As stated in my earlier blog post, 25 Boston condos will be going up for auction at Audubon Park (16 Miner St). The units are listed on the Audubon Auction website which includes a one-bedroom condo with a min bid of $225,000 and a two-bed, two-bath condo with a min bid of $325,000.

I was sorry to see that Mike’s video store in Beacon Hill has closed up shop.
The old ERA real estate office on Cambridge Street has a new tenant. According to the sign in the window Danvers Bank will be occupying the space.

Massachusetts residents have claimed over $427 million in first time federal home-buyer credits, according to a report issued by the General Accounting Office. Bay State residents filed some 40,000 claims for credits, according to report, which ranks the number and dollar amounts of housing credit claims by state as of July 3 of this year

So, is this what a recovery looks like: Lots of people are still losing their jobs, and there’s still a glut of unsold houses on the market.
