2010 Profile of home buyers

Attention Boston real estate agents. Doing an open house this weekend? Here are some enjoyable stats from National Association of Realtors:

  • Less than 1% of buyers said that an open house is how they found the home they purchased.
  • Only 4% made visiting open houses their first effort in finding a home.
  • However, 45% did visit open houses during their home search process.

      I agree with your article. Most homebuyers are using the internet to find the homes that they are interested in. I think every real estate listing needs to offer Full 360 degree panoramic virtual tour. I’m not talking about a slideshow either. Virtual “TOUR” Let your buyers see the property before they schedule an in-person visit. This will eliminate lookers and substitute them with people who are truly interested in seeing that house!
