Boston real estate (single-family home) prices fell again in November, according to the latest Case Shiller numbers.
Not a surprise, but still worth noting, given that Case Shiller is one of the most important housing indicators, and housing is one of the big trouble spots in the economy (unemployment, obviously, is the other).

A total of 1,021 condominium sales were of bank-owned properties – representing 5.6 percent of all condominium sales in 2010. That’s up slightly from 2009, when bank-owned condo sales represented 5.5 percent of all condo sales.

Today, Massachusetts Association of Realtors released the December 2010 and Year-end housing numbers. The Boston-area economy still remains stubbornly better than the rest of the economy. One report said Boston-area unemployment was around 7.4 percent, and then there was news tech, IT, and bio-gen markets are expecting modest hiring increases this year.
