Well, it seems like the general consensus on why Boston condo sales and or Massachusetts real estate sales are down is because of the snow. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the poor selection of Boston condo inventory with high prices and buyers worried about their jobs.

Citiing preliminary data from the MLS Property Information Network, the Herald is reporting a huge tumble in house sales last month. But there could be a sound explanation for at least some of the decline:
“February was just a bad month for housing,” said Boston-based economist Karl Case, co-creator of the widely followed Case-Shiller Housing Index. [...]

The U.S. Attorney’s office in Boston is pressing charges against a slew of people who allegedly tried to scam the government via the now-expired housing tax credit.
One of those charged is a long-time Internal Revenue Service agent from New Hampshire. Which raises the old question: What was he thinking?

Well, this is good news, it seems with the warmer weather (sort of) more Boston condo listing are finally coming on the market. Most of the buyers that my agents are working with have been discouraged by the lack of good housing inventory for the last couple of months. I love the spring market.
