The latest S&P/Case-Shiller home price index is out again.
Sorry, Boston, but we’re still not out of the woods. We were among the losers in September, though not nearly to the extent felt in other cities across the nation.
Boston’s price stats: Home prices fell .77 percent in September, .05 percent over the previous three months, 1.29 percent over the past year, and 4.09 percent over the past three years. Things had looked somewhat better entering September. But the stats are stats.
