C’est la vie, Anthony’s Pier 4?

Finally, construction is expected to start next month on the planned major redevelopment of Pier 4 in the Seaport District.

But it’s unclear if Anthony’s Pier 4 will survive all the planned changes, including construction of hundreds of new housing units.

The restaurant has definitely seen its better days, but there are always retro trends that eventually allow retro-without-trying establishments to flourish in later years. Hey, if spreadable cheese on crackers can make a comeback, Anthony’s Pier 4 – which never gave up its spreadable cheese on crackers, damn it – can also stage a comeback.
