Massachusetts has the second priciest home listings in U.S.

Well, at least we’re not Hawaii, where the weather is fantastic but where homes cost a lot.

According to Coldwell Banker Real Estate, Hawaii has the priciest average home listings on the market, at $742,551, while Massachusetts comes in second, at $489,063. California is ranked third, at $431,625.

You’ll never guess which state is ranked fourth. Click on the link to see.

One Response to Massachusetts has the second priciest home listings in U.S.

  • I was surprised to hear that Massachusetts beat out California. As a Hollywood Hills Realtor, most of our transactions are above $1,000,000. The San Francisco Area and most of Los Angeles County have homes mostly in the $650,000 Range or higher. California is so big and because it has a higher population, the rural parts substantially bring down the housing price average.
