I expect Mortgage Rates to DECREASE over the next week or so.
Why? I think because of the global unrest in the Middle East, etc. So, as a potential homeowner or current borrower there are two ways to play the market:
1. Continue to gamble, and keep waiting for rates to drop
2. LOCK in a current mortgage rate asap, and take your chips off the table.
I think the economy is starting to show signs of life, just this morning the jobless claims fell below 400,000, and some housing data is starting to look good as well. I for one am with the group that thinks “lock in now”
