I just received this email today that Boston will be having another real estate auction.

I’m reaching out because I thought you might be interested to know about a real estate auction Velocity Marketing Services (VMS) announced today for 25 luxury residences at DNA Lofts, a newly constructed property in North Dorchester that was just refinished. The Davis Companies hired VMS, as they did last fall for Audubon Park , to conduct an auction on October 6th. The development firm acquired the property in March and expanded/completely refinished the amenity spaces, as well as the units, at the uniquely converted mews-style loft. From what I understand, DNA Lofts looks and feels entirely different than it did in 2008, and it now features an expanded courtyard and fully furnished roof terrace. Even so, minimum bids will be up to 60 percent below last asking prices, which start as low as $115,000.
