Crashing home prices have led to the most affordable housing market in at least five years, according to the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo Housing Opportunity Index released Thursday.
According to NAHB 4th Q 2008 affordable home survey, Boston-Quincy was ranked 168 out of 222 areas surveyed. It also stated that the share of affordable homes for the median income of Boston-Quincy was 54.2%.
It should be noted that this survey, for whatever reason, combined Boston and Quincy together.
