Well, that’s not exactly true.
Here’s the story:
Boston condo prices top Coldwell list
Boston had the second-highest average condominium price in a Coldwell Banker study of 34 cities.
Between July and October, the average condo price in Boston was priced at $981,000 , trailing only those in New York City at $1.4 million.
But, here’s the kicker:
Coldwell Banker examined condos 1,400 square-feet in size, in buildings 10 stories or higher with doormen. The units studied had two bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms.
Therefore, the numbers don’t mean much, at least much more than that Boston housing is expensive. But, you already knew that.
Still, expect to see this story spread around the internet like wildfire, with people saying, “The average condo in Boston is almost a million dollars!”
