A tip for Boston condo sellers & buyers. First, a final walk-through isn’t a home inspection, the Boston condo buyer will have (or should have) already done that.
In the Boston condo market, the buyer and seller may never meet until the closing, but its common for the buyer to conduct a final walk-through, the day of or the day before the closing, it’s also a good idea for the seller to be present for the final walk-through as well.
If the sellers has already moved, and the condo is vacant, it’s even more important for both parties to do the final walk-through together. Since your last visit, for instance, someone may have left a faucet dripping, inadvertently causing water damage.
