Boston.com held a great chat today with local real estate broker (and competitor) Jason Weissman, of Boston Realty Advisors.
People asked some great questions, and I thought Jason offered up some great advice to buyers of homes, condos, and multi-families.
He suggested some great tips on how to make your home more “sellable”, including this gem:
SMELL!!! This is one of the single most important things a seller can do. Make sure that your home smells natural. Mildew or dampness, odor from pets, overpowering perfume or cologne, all will affect you negatively.
I hear ya.
The best advice he offered: You can find a buyer for your home, easily, even in this market. All you have to do is price your property right.
