By picking a public battle with him.
Does Don Chiofaro really think he’s going to influence Mayor Meninio this way? Does he think a judge or jury will overturn the BRA’s decision on his proposed waterfront tower? There are a lot of things to get upset about when it comes to development projects in Boston. [...]

I know one person who’s going to have a Happy St. Patrick’s Day, our former president George W. Bush. Today, March 17, before about 1,500 Calgary business leaders, Bush will give his first post-White House address for a reported $150,000. Not bad, $150,000 per speech, for a man who left Washington with a record-low 22% [...]

John Keith has decided to enter the race for the 3rd Suffolk District representative seat left behind in the aftermath of former Speaker Sal DMasi’s resignation, making him the third South End resident to join the race.

His staff does him no favors, then, when they say things that are blatantly untrue; or, at the very least, misleading.
From yesterday’s Boston Globe:
The [...]

A column written by me appears in this week’s South End News.
Defeated Columbus Center is an orphan with a thousand fathers

I noticed an expired listing in MLSPIN today, #70742963.
It is a five-bedroom condo on Park Drive, conveniently located near Emmanuel, Simmons, Wheelock, Northeastern, BU, MassArt, SMFA, Mass College of Pharmacy, and Wentworth, among others. It was listed at $585,000.
Not that it matters.
With five bedrooms, it’s too large for a group of students to rent.
The [...]
