My wife wants to see either a Whole Foods Market or a Trader Joe's going into this location.

A Peet's Coffee would be nice also.

Anyone know what's up with the hotel project that is proposed next door on Albany Street?

This is of course good news. However, let's not get too excited too quickly. It look Millennium Partners 7+ years to get construction started on Hayward Place which is only a few blocks away on Washington Street.

On a related note. I just looked out my office window and noticed that the top two floors of office space above the old Borders store are now vacant.

Anyone know who the tenant was and what their story is?

I agree Gerry, I uusllay flag my listings until the home inspection issues are clear and the Purchase and Sale is signed. Although sometimes right when the offer is signed. Usually my sellers can’t wait for the showings to stop. Not to mention I like my listings to show the least amount of days on market once they sell; that helps when I am listing. I agree too that it is frustrating as a Buyer’s Agent to run into properties that have been flagged forever and we can’t get in to see, even for comparison of value to available properties. I know it would motivate buyers if they saw listings they were watching start to sell. Good points. We should all be working together to keep this market moving!Karen ManringREMAX Advantage 1
