The Norman B. Leventhal Map Center at the Boston Public Library is having an awesome exhibit right now, called Journeys of the Imagination, and if you’re into maps and history, like I am, it’ll knock your
skirt pants off.
Here’s two maps I especially liked:
This is one of those cute maps that turns the world “upside-down”(sic) to give a distorted view of things. Doing this (and moving the North America to one-side) makes you see things differently, don’t you think?
This map uses population instead of land mass to draw country’s boundaries. Those big areas are India and China.
