What’s that all about?
There should be no confusion about when I’m writing my own words and when I’m quoting from a published source.
I start by saying something like, “As the Globe said today:” …; this is followed by a quote, in italics.
WordPress does have a “blockquote” function which is a good way to bracket quoted material, but unfortunately, there is some sort of bug in it that causes the paragraph to start running off the right side of the page, each time I try it, so I use the italics as a workaround.
