The New York Times ran an article today about condos going up in Manhattan with a new amenity: a swimming pool.
It’s pretty unusual to find a condo complex with a pool in New York City, and it’s pretty hard to find one, here in Boston.
Off the top of my head, here’s the list I came up with:
566 Commonwealth Ave – Fenway / Kenmore
Charles River Park – Science Park / North Station
Parris Landing – Charlestown
Harbor Towers – Waterfront
Court Square Press / Macallen Building – South Boston
I suppose to some people, a pool might be a “must-have’, but for the majority, it’s probably a nice convenience, but not something we’d use every day (or even every year, I’d bet).
It kills you on your condo fee, too, I imagine.
