There could have been a way to make this win-win, but it’s not to be.

Ming’s and its landlord, the Hamilton Co., have negotiated a 20-year deal that includes renovations to the property after Hamilton abandoned plans to demolish the supermarket and build 96 rental units at Washington and East Berkeley streets.
