Mount Vernon snaps up two Beacon Hill buildings for $4.8 million

Boston-based Mount Vernon Co. just bought two Beacon Hill buildings on Charles Street for $4.8 million: Nos. 86 and 120 (according to Business Wire). The two buildings have a total of 20 residential units and four parking spaces. The cost per square foot, according to the press release, was $464 per square foot.  Mount Vernon’s portfolio currently includes approx. 1,400 apartments.
