The Inn at Cook Street was a great guesthouse. There was the main house, with two guestrooms, upstairs, along with owner’s quarters, plus a big living room, separate dining room, cook’s kitchen, and study on the first floor. There were two small one-bedroom units that you accessed from the common yard, one called the Garden Suite and the other The Hobbit Suite. But, the best place to stay was the stand-alone guestroom/house, called The Cottage Suite. The Cottage Suite has a small kitchenette, the other two don’t have any kitchen, at all.
The owners recently sold the guesthouse, and the new owners are selling the four units as condos.
The main house, with three bedrooms and four bathrooms, is on the market for $879,000. I think it is a downright steal. That’s all I’ll say. The Cottage Suite is on for $359,000, and it’s worth it, at $1,000 a square foot.

From the listing broker’s website:
The beautiful Inn at Cook Street is now being offered for sale as condominiums. The elegant main house has two bedrooms on the second floor, each with its own bathroom and a deck.
There is a third bedroom with a gas fireplace and private bathroom as well as a study and another full bathroom on the main level. The classic living room with its wood-burning fireplace opens onto a spacious dining room which in turn leads to a gourmet kitchen with walk-in pantry.
The finished basement has access to the common laundry and storage area. There is parking for one car, oil heat and what are perhaps some of the most beautifully landscaped grounds in Provincetown.
