Boston Real Estate for Sale

Last week, Rep. Brian Wallace, of South Boston, sugggested that perhaps the city should put a moratorium on any new residential housing, in the area.

In his words, “Time out here. Give us a break. We have had enough already,” Wallace fumed.

Wallace may regret his words. Instead of 242 townhouses, which were proposed for the Seaport area, South Boston residents will have to deal with a 502-room hotel, which has been proposed for 505 Congress Street. Instead of 242 owners, they’ll have to deal with 500 conventioneers and tourists, in cars and cabs.

The proposal must still go through the permitting and zoning process.
