Stroll down Newbury Street – Back Bay.
Once upon a time, I took a stroll down Newbury Street in Back Bay and I came across a store selling used vinyl records. I went in there sometimes. I felt like I stepped into a parallel time zone where in the day I wore tight jeans and a thin leather tie.
The vinyl records were not the only attraction in the store.
The girl behind the counter would select this weeks “Hot Picks” out of its worn inner sleeves held the records for my light inspection. “All right love?” she would ask.
I would look into her green eyes. Wishing If only I had a record player.

Stroll down Newbury Street – Back Bay.
I took a walk down Newbury Street this morning and I noticed that there were 15 vacant retail spaces from Arlington to Mass Ave. I counted retail space as; street level, below street level, and parlor level. Does this vacancy rate seem high to you?
The good news was of the 15 vacant retail spaces 6 had Building Permits on the window. I hope is an indication that new tenants will be moving-in.
The other item that I noticed, there’s no shortage of real estate offices on Newbury Street.
