Thank you for taking the time for my survey on real estate websites.
About 25% of respondents had heard of Zillow and craigslist. Twelve percent had heard of NEMoves.com (Coldwell Banker’s New England-based website).
Over 33% of respondents visited Zillow and craigslist while looking for homes to buy, or while doing research before they put their homes up for sale. Fifteen percent visited NEMoves.com.
Pretty much no one used Blue Door, Propsmart, or Trulia. No one used Redfin, which makes sense, since they’re only operating in Washington and California.
A lot of people visited ZipRealty while searching for a home. (Out of proportion to the number of buyers and sellers they handle, I believe.)
