This morning I picked up the Boston Metro and there was an article entitled: The W ‘holds strong’ in spite of downturn. The article was written by Christina Wallace, and here are some quotes from Kevin Ahearn regarding the Boston W Residences:
“Since that {Chapter 11} filing we’ve restarted and had some great momentum.”
“We are definitely not dropping prices. We are holding pretty strongly and have a tremendous amount of consistent activity. That has a lot to do with the W brand.”
The article also states that according to Kevin there have been 22 closings since the bankruptcy filing and 38 condos are either reserved, purchased or under the agreement. Kevin was also quoted in the article that they’re “not far off the original selling schedule”.
