Question of the day: Can social media web sites such as yelp.com influence the way you select a real estate broker?
The reason I ask, one of my agents is now out with a rental client, and one of the reasons she selected our office was because we had positive reviews on the web site Yelp.
I looked into Yelp comments for “Beacon Hill real estate” and my take was that very few actually had a negative reviews. In my area on Charles Street, only one real estate office had a one star rating. Most offices with ratings (comments) were 5 stars.
I wonder will social media comments be the new standard for selecting a Boston real estate office/broker for apartment rentals, or is it just a lot of hype?
