Bulfinch Triangle development hits setback

Stop & Shop won’t be part of a planned $150 development in the Bulfinch Triangle area along Canal Street in the near North End. The supermarket chain reportedly will be looking elsewhere for a possible food store, which North and West End neighbors desperately want.

Trinity Financial Inc. is hoping to line up another supermarket tenant for its mixed retail-residential development in the Bulfinch area.
