I got an email yesterday announcing a new price on 495 Commonwealth Avenue, the location of the now-defunct J S Waterman & Sons funeral home.
495 Commonwealth Avenue is an architectural icon of Boston’s revitalized Kenmore Square. As recognizable as the Citgo sign itself, these beautiful turn of the century buildings are set on the sunny side of Commonwealth Avenue at the apex of the intersection with Beacon Street. The three harmoniously connected buildings, constructed in 1895, have enjoyed a special place in the hearts and minds of Bostonians as one of Boston’s true landmarks.
