The nation added 103,000 jobs in September, but the total was distorted because it included 45,000 Verizon workers who were rehired after going on strike. They were ultimately counted as job “gains.”
Presently, NBA players won’t be standing at the foul line anytime soon, and most likely not on the unemployment line either.
Whether on the unemployment line or not, will they be counted like Verizon’s striking workers as unemployed?
