Last Saturday, I had lunch at the Rattlesnake Bar and Grill in Back Bay, and there the manager informed me that the owners of Rattlesnake and Parish restaurant were close to gaining approval to open up another restaurant/bar at the now defunct Shanghai La Chinese restaurant, located on 129-135 Cambridge Street, on Beacon Hill.
Previously, the owner of Bean Town Pub tried to open an establishment at the same location, but talks broke down due to Beacon Hill Civic Association’s objections in allowing a full liquor license.
