We had to save banks in order to sue them

Re our post yesterday (‘Uncle Sam cries ‘victim’ in housing crisis?’), Bloomberg has roughly the same reaction to the ludicrous action by the government to sue major banks after we spent all that money trying to save them.

We live in crazy economic times.
