What is a Boston condo boomerang buyer? A Boston boomerang buyer are home buyers on the rebound, individuals that lost a home/condo to a foreclosure or short sale between 2007 – 2013 and now are in the market to buy.
The Washington Post recently ran an article indicating that nationally boomerang buyers make up 10% of all real estate purchases. I think in the Boston area this could run even higher in 2015-2016 as more former owners become elegible for new loans.
