I’ve been a Boston real estate broker for over 20 years, during this time I realized how one’s imagination is one of the greatest gift that has been bestowed on us. We use it quite naturally as children without realizing it. As we grow into adulthood, we are in danger of losing it. Like a muscle that never gets exercised, it can easily stop working.

The reason I bring this up, yesterday, I was working with some first time Boston condo buyers. After a day of showing them properties I could tell by their facial expressions they were discouraged by what they can afford in the current Boston condo market.

When we had some private time, I assured them that as a team we’ll find a Boston condo that meets your needs, it might not be in Beacon Hill or Back Bay, but we will find it.

Having faith in ones-self is essential for any endeavor, especially when your buying your first Boston condo. Disney has mastered making films about believing in one’s self. In their recent movie A Wrinkle in Time based on a science fiction novel by American writer Madeline L’Engle. The movie is about a character named Meg who discovers that their is an untapped power within her and during her journey she is able to overcome obstacles and challenges.

As a first time Boston condo buyer you’ll experience obstacles, and challenges, and like the character Meg in the movie if you’re consistent and surround yourself with a good team you’ll reach your dream.

Like a wine that needs to be savored. A Wrinkle in Time needs to be cherished over time, and so should the Boston condo buying process. what makes this movie appealing is its ability to speak to us at a subliminal way and nourish our need to be reassured  that we are on the right track.
