I never really understood why downtown Boston condo real estate agents use lockboxes. I mean are you that busy that you can’t show up for n appointment to show your own downtown Boston condo listing for sale? I so, hire an assistant. I personally find it unprofessional and I’m not sure that Boston condo sellers would be happy with this lazy practice.
Marketing downtown Boston condos for sale
There is marketing and there is marketing. I was showing Boston condos for sale the other day and it seems that there is a new location for Realtor lockboxes for one of the condo buildings. They are located in this narrow dark dirty alley right on the wall right next to the dumpsters.
The Importance of first impressions on Boston condo buyers
The prospective buyer gets to smell the garbage and gets a good feel for the worst aspects of living in the area.
I found a lockbox at the top of a rusty flight of stairs in a pile of pigeon poo. I’ll bet the seller has no idea.
First impressions are so important and so is safety for the lockboxes and for the people who are using them.
