A Boston Beacon Hill real estate broker steps out of his Porche, a truck goes racing down Charles Street, taking the door off the hinges.
“My Porche! My beautiful silver Porche is ruined!” he screams.
A police officer on the scene shakes his head in disgust. “Unbelievable,” he says. You’re so focused on your possessions that you didn’t even realize your left hand was almost shorn off when the truck hit you.
The Boston Beacon Hill broker looks down in absolute horror at his left hand.
