We’ll take good news where we can find it. This week French software company Dassault Systemes signed a lease in Waltham for a whopping 320,000 square-feet of space on Wyman Street in Waltham. This is a big commercial leasing deal for the Boston area. The new space will have room for 800 employees, but don’t start filling out job applications just yet. The move is basically a consolidation of Dassault’s existing locations in Concord and Lowell. Well, at least they’re staying.
“The Boston area has been the birthplace of many of the world’s most brilliant high tech companies and we are pleased to announce DS’s commitment to this dynamic area for the long term,” says Al Bunshaft, Managing Director of Dassault Systèmes Americas.
