There will be another round of auctions, this Saturday, held at the Hynes Auditorium, in Boston’s Back Bay.
According to Banker & Tradesman, more than 160 foreclosed homes, condo, and multifamily properties are scheduled to be auctioned.
This month’s auction includes 19 properties in Brockton, 10 in Lawrence, 10 in Worcester, seven in Lowell, and seven in Springfield.
Meanwhile, the Boston Globe is reporting that several buyers of properties at November’s auction, also held by Real Estate Disposition Corp, have been unable to close, for several reasons, including unclear titles and banks taking back the properties before the winning bidders could close.
Definitely a case of “Buyers Beware”, my friends.
UPDATE: State is examining the November auction to make sure all rules and regulations were followed, according to the Boston Globe.
