Boston Real Estate for Sale

From the Herald:

In the wake of a controversy that pitted Beacon Hill residents against a bank trying to displace a market in a prime Charles Street retail spot, the historic neighborhood plans to keep a more proactive eye on business comings and goings.

The Beacon Hill Civic Association’s new retail vacancy task force met for the first time last month and will focus on Charles and Cambridge streets.

“It’s to help prevent vacancies from occurring and, when vacancies do occur, to help identify the types of stores that would best serve the neighborhood and … try to proactively encourage them to come to Beacon Hill,” said Michael Bruck, a nine-year Beacon Hill resident who’s chairman of the committee.
