Boston landlord:
I have a tenant that called me Saturday night telling me she saw a dog roaming the streets near the corner of Park Dive and Beacon Street. She claimed that the dog looked lost. She pleaded with me to allow her to keep the dog in my small studio condo that I’m renting to her. I informed her that the condo association doesn’t allow Boston landlord to keep pets and that she should try to find the owner or call the proper city officials.
I followed up and called her Sunday morning, asked her how did it work out with the dog situation? She told me she’s going to keep the dog. I told her you just can’t take a dog off the streets and keep it. After going back and forth she finally agreed with me and did the right thing.
The situation actually reminded me of an episode of an old sitcom series called, The Odd Couple. Enjoy the video below.
