As stated in an earlier blog post I’m eagerly waiting for the “Grand Opening” signs to appear in Boston, to show we’re pulling out of the “Great Recession” Well here’s some hope:
Bostonrestaurants.blogspot.com reported that a new restaurant will be opening up in the former Brighham’s space in the Boston Financial District.
According to a poster on the Boston’s Hidden Restaurants Facebook page as well as another poster on the Chowhound site, Slate Bar & Grill is planning to open on High Street, taking over the spot where Brigham’s had been until closing in late 2009 (the Brigham’s chain subsequently filed for bankruptcy a short time later). A website for the new dining spot and watering hole is up, but the site is apparently under construction and has no information at this point in time.
The address for this upcoming restaurant and bar in the Financial District is: Slate Bar & Grill, 109 High Street, Boston, MA, 02110. The website will be at https://www.slatebarandgrill.com/
